A New Year
Last year was a stressful year for us as we downsized our home and moved into our 5th wheel. Our New Years’ resolution is to create our bucket list. No time like the present. Living in the RV gives us a glimpse of the lifestyle we will have once we retire and our travels have begun. It is also allowing us to scale down regarding items we kept but are no longer needed. Consolidation is the name of the game in an RV.
Luckily, we tend to be handy and creative. We have made several modifications making RV living more comfortable. One of the bigger modifications was removing the TV from our bedroom. It took up space and we never once watched the TV. Our collective decision was to make a modular storage unit for our clothes. My husband and son did a spectacular job and created a more functional space.
The most asked question lately is, “Where are you going to be heading once you hit the road”. So far our response has been, “Not sure, but somewhere warm.” Not a real definitive answer to the question. We knew we had to start to formulate a plan of where to go, how long do we want to stay and when does this journey begin. Of course, the habitual resolution of losing weight for 2019 is also a resolution. I hope everyone achieves their individual goals for this year.
