Quiet Oaks RV Park – Bullard,Texas
Our two-month stay in Texas was a journey with a dual purpose: to be with family and to find our future home on a lake. To be close to my daughter, son-in-law, and our granddaughter, we chose an RV park just minutes from their house. It was a peaceful stay, and since it was the off-season, there weren’t many other campers around.
We did, however, have one hiccup with a neighbor who enjoyed his music a little too much. After one night of listening to tunes until 2 a.m., we had to ask the host to intervene. Thankfully, he did, and the rest of our time there was blissfully quiet.
The house hunt, on the other hand, was full of ups and downs. We toured several homes, but only one truly felt like “the one.” Unfortunately, our offer was rejected. With the temperatures climbing into the mid-90s and no other promising lake prospects on the horizon, Mitch was antsy and ready for a change of scenery.
After two months enjoying our family, we packed up our RV and headed out in search of cooler weather. It’s time for our next adventure to begin.
