We are beginning our much anticipated 2022 adventure. We travel up the east
coast to our “big rock” Acadia National Park in Maine this year. The
goal is to arrive before Memorial Day to try and skip the crowds and enjoy the beautiful
sights and trails this park offers. As a bonus, we will be meeting friends who
will be there simultaneously. Our friend grew up in Maine, so we look forward
to experiencing the town from a “locals” perspective.

While we are excited to start our journey, we will miss spending time with
the family. We are blessed to have our son and grandson, age three, daily and
will miss their smiling faces. We are also looking forward to our daughter’s
wedding in October.

This trip adds a pleasant addition as we will be meeting with friends and
family along the way. One of Mitchell’s friends was a groomsman at our wedding,
and we haven’t seen him since. That was 40 years ago.
